Our Story
Havant Homecare was founded in 2016 by Katrina Thorne with the sole focus of providing high quality care to older people at home. Katrina worked in a number of care settings throughout her career and vowed to do better, be better and to deliver better experiences of care to those who receive care and their families.
The business was started in Katrina's spare bedroom and quickly moved to other premises as it grew. The pace of growth was controlled and continues to be controlled so that the overarching goal of providing the highest quality care with a focus on the customer is maintained.
Katrina took the best bits and the worst from her career in care and injected the best into Havant Homecare. Katrina believes that no one should be expected to receive a stranger into their home, let alone for intimate care. This is a core value that underpins Havant Homecare's ethos and work and all care team members are introduced to the customer. This is something we proudly guarantee to anyone who receives care from us.
We have successfully built a team of kind, caring and dedicated people who collectively provide a service for us all to be proud of.
