Katrina Thorne (Director and Owner) founded Havant Homecare Ltd in 2016 after a number of years of frustration in the industry with declining care standards and continual bad press. Her mission is to provide high quality services with a focus on continuity of care.
Havant Homecare Ltd is a privately owned small business that focuses on the provision of care tailored to the person using the service. Havant Homecare is owned and operated by Katrina Thorne who has provided care for in excess of seventeen years. Katrina has achieved the relevant qualifications within the care industry and fully understands the importance of providing care specifically focused on the customer.
Katrina was frustrated with the poor standards of continuity of care and not being able to make changes to the services people received and chose to start a home care business that provides the right ingredients to supply each and every customer with satisfaction of the care they receive. To ensure that this is achieved regular feedback from those receiving care will be requested and analysed with the results given to each and every customer in a confidential manner to keep them fully formed.
Havant Homecare provides care across Havant and the surrounding areas in the comfort of your own home. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to know if we are able to provide you with service in your location. The specific areas covered are:
Havant Emsworth Southbourne Cosham
Clanfield Denmead Rowlands Castle Drayton
Farlington Waterlooville Portchester Horndean
All employees are checked via references and a police check (DBS – disclosure and barring service) to ensure that they are fit to provide care. Every effort is made to ensure that the right people are recruited to make a difference to peoples lives. We will ask you for feedback about our staff to ensure that we are getting it right. We recognise that compatibility between customers and staff is important to you and therefore it is a focus for us.
No care worker is permitted to work until all checks and training are completed although training will continue throughout a care workers career to ensure that they are kept up to date with training methods, information and skill set in order to meet the needs of those receiving care.
